These filters have much smaller openings than traditional screens, so they can trap and capture much smaller particles from the air, leaving the home’s air cleaner and fresher. While they do not remove gasses and odor molecules,they effectively rid your home of airborne contaminants .3 microns and larger, like pollen, mold, bacteria, viruses, dust and mites. As well as tobacco, wood or cooking smoke, pet dander, and insecticides plus much more.

The system connects to the return air duct and diverts 1/3 to ½ of the dirty air through the three stage HEPA. The three stages consist of a pre-filter, the HEPA filter and an inner filter. The HEPA filter is replaced between 3 and 5 years, and the pre & inner filter once to twice a year.
